| Night-vision pike fishing |
 Here is a quick report from our UK Savage Gear consultant Anthony Glascoe.
"I took the dogs out last night for a few hours at dusk on a local lake to blow the cobwebs off, so i just had to have a few chucks. Now i know the pike feed better at dusk and during the night on this water, so a quick few hours last night was perfect. The humidity was ideal, and the temperatures stayed mild, so i thought the Alian Eel Shallow Runner was the perfect approach".
"I had made a few casts into a 12ft weedy bay, with only the head lamp and full moon beam guiding the way. On my 3rd cast near a huge tree snag in pitch darkness, WHACK... my 20cm Alian Eel motor oil glitter was smashed. After an Indiana Jones style fight, she was netted, I could not see the size of her properly until i placed her on the mat. I was gobbed smacked, another fine 20 plusser on one of my best Sava Gear lures... Alian Eels kick ass, and they are a true big pike catcher, make sure you have one in your lure box!"
