| Monster Pike on Cannibal Shad! |
 Italian Savage Gear consultant, Marco Giudici, have done it again!! Whilst fishing for Zander, with his beloved 12,5cm Cannibal shad in Pearl Silver, mounted on a Pearl White 20g Blade jigghead – Marco hooked into a massive fish on his new Savage Gear rod! Marco, was searching over a 8-10m top for the Zander, jigging the lure along the drop off – when the lure was inhaled – sending the typical “knock” to the rod tip. The resistance was immense and for a long time the fish was controlling the battle! After about 10min the massive fish came slowly but surely to the surface and Marco could land the massive fish in his lading net on first try! When the fish was in the boat – there was no doubt – this was a true monster!! The fish was in perfect condition, though blind on one eye it had amazing belly. The fish measured 120cm in length and a whopping 78cm around the girth. On this trip Marco, did not bring his scales – so the fish was released, with out knowing the exact weight – a shame really, since know all the guess work will begin! Anyway, the fish was released after very fast photos on the bank and swam back safely – taken the secret of the weight with it! Marco, that have landed quite some big fish – has no doubt the fish was between 18 and 20kg+. See more pictures in the gallery of the incredible fish.
