| French Monster Pike |
 Here are pictures of French angler Kévin Hernandez and what will probably be the Pike of his life, because fish of that size are extremely rare in France. On the 22nd of January at 4:00pm, Kévin went to the bank of the river Loire for an afterwork one hour session. Conditions were good with clear waters and high water levels. He selected a spot where breams were gathering close to the bank and an SG 16cm Deviator in Dirty Silver to match the breams color. After only 15 minutes, Kevin had a strong attack and the fish immediately rushed downstream, taking more than 20 meters of braid. After a violent fight that lasted 15 minutes, Kevin could land this huge 1,21m pike. Unfortunately Kevin had no scale to weigh the fish but he and three other anglers estimated the fat fish to weigh between 17 and 18 kilos. After a few shots, Kevin could finally release his new PB in perfect condition. He was the happiest man in the world and exact weight was not that important.

Voici quelques clichés de Kévin Hernandez et celui qui sera probablement le brochet de sa vie (en France tout du moins). Le 22 janvier, vers 16H, Kévin quitte son travail et se rend sur les berges de Loire pour une courte session d'une heure. Les conditions sont bonnes avec des eaux claires et un niveau d'eau assez haut. Il choisit un poste où les brèmes sont regroupées en bordure et décide de pêcher big bait avec un Deviator 16cm en coloris Dirty Silver pour imiter la robe des brèmes. Après seulement 15 minutes, il a une touche coup de fusil et le poisson dévale immédiatement en prenant une vingtaine de mètres de tresse. Après un combat violent qui a duré un quart d'heure, Kevin a pu sortir cet énorme Pike de 1,21m. Malheureusement, il n'avait pas de peson sur place et n'a pas voulu prendre de risque pour la survie du poisson, il l'a, avec 3 autres pêcheurs présents, simplement estimé autour de 17 ou 18 kilos. Après quelques clichés, il a remis à l'eau ce poisson très large en parfaite condition. Kevin était alors l'homme le plus heureux du monde et le poids n'était finalement pas le plus important.
