| Vampire eyes in the night. |
From our Savage Gear consultant Daniel Vignevic comes a fresh report concerning the Savage Gear Prey 115 lure and one hungry zander. “Today the Prey 115 blessed me with one of the most beautiful takes I ever saw. In the dusk, I threw the Prey near the edge of the river current and the fine part of the slack water. As the current let go, I started retrieving the prey in an irregular fashion with 10-15 cm runs combined with 13 sec pauses. At first it seemed as if I saw vampire eyes behind the lure. Although the water was very clear it had already gotten pretty dark, so I couldn`t quite distinguish whether a fish was actually behind or not. A few pulls and stops followed and now the prey was only 15 cm from the shore. I stopped to take a better look, and then all of a sudden something moved and in a flash the last half of the fire tiger Prey disappeared. Fish on!”
“This was the first time I used the Prey lures for zander. I really like how it bounces off rocks, and the irregular action it has on the slow retrieve. When zanders take the lure in perfectly still water, it means the lure is the real deal!”
The Prey Lures come in four different sizes and 14 lethal colors, and they'll drive anything from big perch to zanders and pike berserk.
Keep the pictures and reports coming, whether it’s big Pike or any other great predator fish - we cannot get enough! info@prologicfishing.com Back |
