| Baltic Waterwolfs! |
 Savage Gear Pro Staff, Henrik S. Lund and Christian “the Joker” Møller – did it again! On a new adventure, this time to the German side of the vast Baltic sea, they tried for the first time to fish for big summer pike brackish water. They had 3 days of fishing available but it was soon clear for the experienced anglers, that the fishing would not be easy, as the area is very very big. Add to this shifting weather conditions and tons of grass drifting on the surface and you get the picture!
Using time on the water and trying different approaches led to the idea of trolling on 6-8 meter of water. The Butch 21 cm in “Dirty roach” and “mackerel” colours and the sinking Alien eel 30 cm in the Magic colour turned out to produce most of the takes. The Butch was fished out to the sides of the boat while the Alien eels were fished on the down riggers under the boat. The lures was trolled at a speed of approx 3kts and the hits of the big fish was just insane – leaving Henrik and Joker with yet a surprising and incredible experience to enter in their boat log.
The 3 days of fishing gave 12 super fish with 2 biggest of 10,6kg 113cm and 12,6kg 118cm (pictured).
