When I first tried to mount these new backlead clips, I simply found the rubber sleve to be much too stiff for the job.
I found, that I couldn't compress it enough to allow the ring of the lead to slip into the thin plastic clip when the rubber was pushed toward the big top plastic ring - but then it occured to me, that the intention is, that you start to slide the rubber into this ring to mount the lead into the bottom plastic hook - and then slide it back to lock the lead and again forward to the safe locking position, where the line have no chance of dissengaging accidentaly. You can simply lock it all in perfect safety - and still with the possibillity of the lead being dissengaged, if it should be caught up on snaggs during the fight.
I do prefere to cut back the thin plactic hook a bit, though - just to be perfectly certain of the release of the lead in case of snagging.
I'm perfectly certain, that with this clip, you're as certain as you can get, that you won't loose any backleads when you don't want to!

Good! - Maybe even the best available at the time being!

CLIPS POUR BACKLEAD PROLOGIC
Lorsque j’ai essayé pour la première fois de monter ces nouveaux clips backlead, j’ai simplement trouvé que les manchons en caoutchouc étaient beaucoup trop rigides pour cet usage. Je pensais que je ne pourrais pas le comprimer suffisamment pour que l’anneau du plomb puisse se glisser dans son fin logement en plastique. Mais j’y suis parvenu en forçant un peu, d’abord en faisant glisser le manchon vers le gros anneau en plastique, puis en fixant le plomb sur le petit crochet, ensuite en faisant glisser le manchon en arrière pour sécuriser le plomb, enfin à nouveau vers l’avant pour assurer que la ligne n’ait aucune chance de se libérer accidentellement. Vous pouvez simplement assembler le tout avec une sécurité parfaite, avec toujours la possibilité que le plomb soit éjecté, s’il devait se coincer dans un obstacle en cours de combat.
Je préfère recouper un peu le fin crochet en plastique, juste pour être certain de la libération du plomb en cas d’accrochage. Je suis parfaitement convaincu qu’avec ces clips, vous pouvez être certains de ne plus perdre de backleads quand vous ne le voulez pas.

Bon produit ! – Peut-être même le meilleur disponible en ce moment !
