Hi Team savage Gear! I would like to inform you about my last lucky catch....a massive pike of 118,5 cm in lenght by 96 cm in girth....just a big heavy lunker my friend.
By the standard formula it weighted 23,6 kilos!! She is still alive as I have released her with as much attention as possible and all the pics were taken keeping her in the water all the time.
Last info that you might not like it too much is that the monster was taken with on the fly,...the rod was the gret CTC form SCIERRA and the fly line as well was the Scierra pike line #9.
I wanted to release the incredible 20kg+ fish straight away – so no time to wait for official scales.
